Position Title: Operating Technician
Wage: $19.00 - $23.00/Hour
Shift: 3rd Shift
Hours: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Monday - Friday

Operating Technician Responsibilities:
- Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification
- Ensure maximum efficiency of set-up to include set-up time, materials, production rate and material consumption

- Machine readiness – inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up
- Identify issues, which adversely affect product requirements and communicate with appropriate department personnel for resolution
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning
- Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution
- Ensure part quality meets established standards
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, as required
- Complete all shift documentation/paperwork
- Shift hand-off – go over job status and updates with incoming shift
- Participate in safety programs
- Follow all established safety procedures
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
Requirements for Operating Technician:
- One year manufacturing or related experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements
- Ability to solve basic math problems
- Ability to operate forklift
- Bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, twisting, standing for long periods of time
- Occasionally lifting 10-50 lbs – cases of product and pallets
