Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift
Hours: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:
- Set up winding machinery for operation
- Assemble units according to three-view drawings or blueprints using coils, bobbins, cores, brackets, terminals, bolts, washers, nuts, insulation, magnetic laminations, enclosures, etc. using hand and power hand tools
- Tape units, as necessary
- Load and change spools of wire and coils
- Test assembled units and verify units meet all electrical and mechanical specifications
- Weld and solder copper and steel
- Hand solder wire to terminals
- Assemble core legs
- Label products as appropriate
- Follow all policies, procedures, and Expectations
- Computer keyboard entry of all necessary production data
Requirements For Mechanical Assembler:
- 2 years of steady work experience is preferred
- Assembler has the option of standing or sitting (where permitted) while assembling units, typically on an anti-fatigue mat
- Be able to lift to 80lbs- up to 6 times per hour
- Must be capable of receiving, understanding, and giving clear, concise instructions in English, both orally and in written form
- Must be well organized, be capable of effectively achieving deadlines with minimal direct supervision and be willing to work in a team environment
