QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Saint Francis, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Load and unload trailers as assigned using appropriate equipment and safety procedures
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against shipping documents
- Supply raw materials and components to packaging and production work centers
- Transport materials between warehouse and production areas
- Prepare finished products for shipment, including shrink wrapping, correct pallet orientation, and accurate pallet labeling
- Ensure proper storage and organization of materials in designated warehouse locations
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as needed
- Follow quality control guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product safety and quality
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with other warehouse and production-related duties as assigned
Material Handler Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous material handling or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Consistent work history in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions
