Position Title: Manufacturing Tech
Wage: $15/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Manufacturing Tech for a company in Springfield, MO. This is a contract to hire role.
Manufacturing Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assembly and disassembly of or torque converter assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Tear down and clean up of transfer cases
- Set up and use various machines
- Inspect parts, tag defective parts for disposition by Quality
- Use hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit, adjustment, or friction
- Perform washing, cleaning, checking, inspection, tool changes, packaging, machining, material handling and repair
- Use precision measuring equipment to ensure customer specifications are met
- Lift 40-50lbs regularly and 75lbs occasionally
Manufacturing Tech Requirements:
- Basic math and reasoning skills
- Able to read and follow work instructions
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Work in an environment with possible exposure to temperature variances, noise, dust, and fumes
- Good mechanical skills, ability to use calipers and pneumatic tools
- Work in the hot/cold environments, warehouse is not climate controlled
- Lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs
