Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $20-$25/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am-3pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a company in Oconomowoc, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform all entry level tasks as needed such as building maintenance, trips to hardware store, and routine preventative maintenance to forklifts, fire extinguishers, lights, etc.
- Independent work on entire pieces and/or subsystems of production equipment
- Preventative maintenance of the molding machines and auxiliary equipment such as granulators, water temperature controllers, etc.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Training and experience in at least one of the following skills: hydraulics, pneumatics, machinery repair, electricity, electronics, refrigeration, HVAC, welding
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- Skill in using measuring instruments
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work overtime and/or Saturdays as required
- Prior experience in using hand/power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, Skil saws, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to diagnose and repair devices and mechanisms of moderate difficulty
- Ability to read and understand factory manuals on different pieces of equipment and apply the knowledge to the task at hand
- Climb, bend, reach, and lift
- Personal set of hand tools
