Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $25-$35/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 5am-3:30pm, Overtime hours when scheduled and required

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities to better understand all manufacturing machinery
- Perform mechanic skills, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fabrication, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
- Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions as needed
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Other duties as assigned
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- An AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance is preferred
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience, HVAC and furnace experience
- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibrations and other high decibel noises
- At times the noise level in this work environment will be very loud
- Supply and maintain their own basic tools/toolbox
- Regularly talk and hear in the English language
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing, at various intervals during a working day
- Ability to continuously, throughout the assigned workday, be on their feet as well as frequently lift and/or move up to 75lbs
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
