Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Wage: $25.00 - $35.00/hour
Shift: 2nd or 3rd
Hours: 2:00pm - 10:00pm or 10:00pm - 6:00am

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with broken or faulty equipment
- Serve as a backup to coordinate vendors/suppliers on the shop floor
- Provide guidance and feedback to operators/leads on proper functions of machines
- Coordinate machine repair/maintenance with scheduling and leads
- Perform repair and maintenance work on electrical control equipment and apparatus as associated with automated machine tools, servo-mechanism, etc.
- Replace, adjust, and calibrate components to align control apparatus to required operating specifications
- Fabricate machine guards, replace motors, tear or replace pumps, maintain fluid collection or distribution equipment or repair electro-mechanical equipment
- Rig, move and install machines and equipment for new installations and intra-plant layout changes
- Assist in dismantling and reassembling machines undergoing repair, overhaul, etc.
- Locate and determine electrical malfunctions
- Complete preventative maintenance on machines, buildings, etc.
- Replace light fixtures or other basic building equipment
- Assist with physical moves to include dismantling, packaging, transferring, and assembling of various office/shop furniture/equipment
- Follow 6S procedures, ISO/quality procedures and safety procedures/protocols
Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Experience with a Windows-based computer system (Microsoft Office programs and Maintenance Work Order software)
- Able to work on electrical systems up to 480 VAC
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to pass company screening process
- Able to read and comprehend documents such as blueprints, schematics, work orders, etc.
- Able to write standard documentation and effectively present information to other employees
- May require forklift certification
