Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including practicing safe work habits, maintaining organization, safe food defense and good manufacturing practices
- Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs
- Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups
- Make required setting changes and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture quality products
- Teach others in all qualification requirements and proper maintenance procedures
- Troubleshoot programmable controllers and repair A/C and D/C drives and motors, along with control systems
- Use aspects of the maintenance software program
- Plan and schedule maintenance work, assign work to other employees according to their abilities and limitations
- Follow up all work in order to ensure repairs and work are performed safely and properly
- Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed
Requirements for Maintenance:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous work experience in corrugated industry preferred
- At least six months of experience as a Maintenance Technician preferred
- Able to read and follow work instructions and shop copy information
- Able to read a tape measure and micrometer with speed and accuracy
- Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate
- Excellent communication skills
