Mail Handler Responsibilities:
- Transfer mail from containers to trays and onto conveyor systems
- Stack and organize mail trays onto racks for processing and distribution
- Maintain pace with high-speed mail processing machines and workflow demands
- Pull trays of mail for packaging and shipment preparation
- Package mail and place completed items onto pallets for transport
- Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe
- Follow company safety procedures and operational guidelines
Requirements for Mail Handler:
- Previous warehouse, mail processing, or production experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and meet productivity standards
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including entire shifts
- Ability to perform repetitive motions involving lifting, bending, reaching, and stacking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, moving, and handling of mail and trays throughout the shift
