Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $18-$25/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 12:30pm-8:30pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Packaging Operator for a company in Saint Francis, WI. Work in a team-based manufacturing environment to operate and support packaging equipment on continuous production lines. This role ensures efficient operation, product quality, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This is an associate to hire opportunity on 2nd shift.
Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate packaging equipment to maintain continuous line production
- Run and support equipment such as fillers, pouch fillers, cartoners, labelers, cappers, sealers, checkweighers, scales, and metal detectors
- Make line adjustments to ensure efficient and consistent production
- Assist with line setups and changeovers alongside Setup Team Members
- Support multiple packaging lines as needed
- Monitor product quality and report issues
- Assist with troubleshooting, disassembly, cleaning, and routine equipment operation
Machine Operator Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and operate machinery controls
- Ability to visually and audibly monitor equipment, inspect products, and respond to alarms
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
- Ability to wear required PPE
