The Machine Operator will operate production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and production standards. Candidates should have 1–2 years of manufacturing experience. Candidates without manufacturing experience should have strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn machine operations. Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate 2-3 machines at a time while meeting daily production goals
- Load and unload parts from machines
- Wash, barcode, and properly handle finished parts
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow safety and production procedures
- Retrieve materials and parts using an electric pallet jack
- Handle parts weighing up to 20–25 lbs
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Receive training on machine operation, programming, and recordkeeping
Requirements for Machine Operator:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry materials
- Ability to lift and handle parts weighing up to 20–25 lbs
- Ability to repeatedly load and unload parts from machines
- Ability to use hands and fingers for repetitive tasks and operate tools and equipment
- Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack after training
- Ability to wear required PPE and follow all workplace safety requirements
