QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Press Operator at a company in Manitowoc, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today!
Press Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate small, medium and large presses.
- Set up and operate support equipment such as stock feeders, roll feeds, etc.
- Utilize routings, prints or directions to make required parts
- Set up complicated sheet metal stamping dies
- Set up and operate in-line feeders, coil stock reels and various support equipment
- Check parts to be sure "dull" tooling doesn't cause excessive burr conditions
Requirements for Press Operator:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift up to 35lbs. at least every ½ hour a shift.
- Able to stand or sit entire shift depending on parts that need to be assembled
- Able to read instructions in English
