Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Perform setup by assuring properly mounted tooling and balancing, proper machine settings and resin, and adjusting and properly maintaining machines and tools per specification sheet
- Anticipate material requirements and notifies designated persons or leaders to minimize production delays
- Follow machine operator procedures as written in machine operator instructions in the Product Summary Report
- Make minor adjustments are made to all machines and equipment as necessary
- Examine parts for surface cosmetics, proper weights, and defects
- Use precise measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, and pyrometers
Requirements For Machine Operator:
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Able to follow written and oral instructions
- Able to perform simple math including addition, subtraction, multiplying, and dividing
- Organizational and computer skills to perform essential job functions
