Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $18/HR
Shift: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift
Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 2:00PM - 10:00PM, (Monday - Friday), 10:00PM - 6:00AM (Sunday - Thursday)
Join this well-known company in Horicon, WI that produces a variety of products for lawnmowers and utility vehicles. You'll be a part of a team that works to provide customers with the equipment they need to get the job done!
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up machines by properly mounting and balancing tooling, configuring machine settings, and selecting the correct resin
- Maintain and adjust machines and tools according to specification sheets
- Anticipate material needs and communicate with the relevant personnel or team leader to prevent production delays
- Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) to meet quality standards as directed
- Follow machine operator procedures outlined in the Product Summary Report
- Make minor adjustments to machines and equipment as needed and report any required repairs to the supervisor
- Examine finished parts for surface quality, weight, and defects
- Utilize precise measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, and pyrometers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and machines
Requirements For Machine Operator:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-10 hours)
- Occasional lifting and carrying of materials up to 50 pounds
- Capability to climb steps, stoop, bend, and reach as needed throughout the shift
- Prior experience operating machinery is essential
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with computer systems to perform job functions effectively
