Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $19.50 - $21.75/hour
Shift: 1st or 2nd
Hours: 5:00am - 2:30pm or 2:30pm - 12:00am

Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate and oversee the single-seal wrapper machine used to package pizza products
- Set up, monitor and adjust heat tunnel temperature, airflow, and conveyor speed to achieve proper shrink and seal quality
- Load and replace film as needed
- Monitor product flow through the wrapper and heat tunnel to prevent jams or damage
- Inspect wrapped pizzas for seal integrity, shrink quality, and appearance
- Make real-time adjustments to wrapper and heat tunnel settings to maintain quality standards
- Identify, isolate, and report defective or improperly wrapped products?
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate mechanical problems when needed
- Accurately complete production, quality, and downtime documentation
- Follow all GMP, HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety requirements
- Communicate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet daily production goals
Requirements for Machine Operator:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience operating packaging machinery, including wrapper or heat tunnel equipment preferred
- Experience operating production or manufacturing machines in a food processing environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and food safety regulations
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand and work on a production line for extended periods
- Ability to lift and handle packaging materials within safety guidelines
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to monitor seal and shrink quality
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
