QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position available at a company in Rockford, IL. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with machine set up on multiple machines and machine operation.
- Machine set up and operation.
- Loading and Pulling product off of machines and loading them onto pallets.
- Quality control of parts.
- Load flat cardboard and labels into machines for processing.
- Counting the number of parts required per box.
- Packaging parts depending on customer requirements.
Machine Operator Requirements:
- Ability to use hands and arms for repetitive motion.
- Attention to detail and problem solving.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Ability to sit, walk, and stand for an 8-hour day.
- Lift boxes up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to grab and reach for products.
