Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Teardown, set up, and start an extruder line with direction from Cell Lead
- Use calipers, micrometer, gauges, other measuring devices and mating parts to ensure quality products and parts meet customer specifications
- Monitor various inspection/production reports to ensure the production of quality product
- Efficiently manage production of product from start to finish of run
- Minimize scrap and regrind
- Maximize efficiency to reduce overall set-up and start-up times
- Operate forklift
Requirements for Machine Operator:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least one year of experience in set-up and/or extrusion process
- Basic math and computer skills
- Able to communicate/read/write in English
- Able to read blueprints
- Forklift certification preferred
