Position Title: Machine Maintenance
Wage: $18.00-$40.00 per hour
Shift: All
QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Maintenance position available at a company in Hazelwood, MO. This position has all shifts available and the opportunity for hire.Â
Machine Maintenance Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements of all equipment
- Troubleshoot any issues of mechanical devices, correct issues as necessary to maintain productivity/quality standards.
- Control downtime by communicating with all departments.
- Maintain equipment, parts and supplies inventories, conserve resources when able.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Support with various facility maintenance as assigned. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement Primarily works in a production and/or product storing setting.
- Walking, standing, bending for duration of shift. Ability to work additional shifts as needed.
- Must be capable of working rotating shifts as assigned which could include working outside of normal weekly schedule and include some availability during off hours.
Machine Maintenance Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associates or Bachelors’ degree a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience.
- Technical Certification highly preferred.
- Experience with robotics a plus.
- Experience in an injection mold facility.
- 3+ years of experience in injection molding and recycling industries.
- Proficient in basic math, reading, and communication.
- Knowledgeable in mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Skilled in using measuring equipment: tape measure (standard/metric), micrometer, caliper, Fluke, scales, and VOM.
- Advanced understanding of machine operations and mechanical functions.
- Experienced in disassembling, repairing, and troubleshooting plant machinery.
- Able to overhaul and rebuild plant machinery.
- Competent in making simple parts or equipment and tools.
- Certified to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, cranes, and other operational equipment.
