Machine Setup Technician Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret process set-up sheets
- Manipulate machine controls to achieve desired parameters as called out for on process set-up sheets
- Install molds in molding machines, observing all safety factors related to machine, mold and personnel
- Stage and set-up secondary equipment, including hot stampers, ultra-sonic welders, drill fixtures, etc.
Requirements for Machine Setup Technician:
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required of this position
- Ability to obtain a forklift license
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to attend and participate in monthly set-up technician meetings and training sessions
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend and reach
- Ability to work in an environment where the temperature may fluctuate
- Ability to safely get on and off forklift and navigate pallet trucks around facility
