We’re seeking an experienced Powder Coater in Kansas City, KS to join a stable, associate-to-hire opportunity with great hours, a convenient location, and strong benefits upon hire. This role is ideal for someone with a solid work history, a sharp eye for quality, and a positive, team-focused attitude who takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality finishes in a production environment.
Powder Coat Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with loading and unloading production parts to support efficient workflow
- Properly position parts to ensure optimal coverage and quality during the powder coating process
- Load and unload parts with attention to detail to maintain product integrity
- Perform initial quality inspections on all parts before and after coating
- Follow established procedures for handling and documenting rejected or questionable materials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Cross-train and assist in other areas of the production line as needed
Powder Coat Operator Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training or relevant on-the-job experience preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Powder coating experience is beneficial
- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
- Ability to follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
