Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling | Washington, DC
Next Level Technician is seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians for projects in Washington, DC. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with consistent work, competitive pay, and long-term potential.
Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable
Test installed cabling using Fluke or similar testers
Punch down voice and data jacks
Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, and related infrastructure
Work safely on ladders and lifts (must be comfortable with heights)
Read and interpret blueprints and system layouts
Assist with installation and support of access control, CCTV, AV, and fiber optic systems
Requirements:
2+ years of commercial or industrial low voltage experience
Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
Willingness to travel to job sites within the region as needed
