Responsibilities
Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable, and fiber optic cabling
Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
Punch down voice and data jacks
Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts
Experience terminating and installing RJ45, coaxial, and fiber optic connectors
Requirements
2+ years of experience installing low-voltage structured cabling systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment
Experience with OTDR, power meter, and fiber test equipment
Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
Manufacturer or FOA (Fiber Optic Association) certifications a plus
Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
Willingness to travel to job sites within Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee as needed - Will travel with Access Lead in Company vehicle
