Low Voltage Project Manager – Structured Cabling & Data Center
Washington, DC

Responsibilities
  • Manage low voltage projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved
  • Oversee structured cabling installations, including copper and fiber optic systems (single-mode and multi-mode)
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance
  • Develop project schedules, manage labor resources, and maintain project budgets
  • Track project progress, manage change orders, and maintain detailed project documentation
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards
  • Assist with estimating, procurement, and project forecasting as needed
  • Lead, mentor, and support field supervisors and installation teams
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in low voltage, structured cabling, or data center environments
  • Proven experience managing commercial construction and/or data center projects
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic installation, testing, and certification
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and network diagrams
  • Experience with project management software and reporting tools
  • BICSI, OSHA 30, PMP, or equivalent certifications are a plus
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
