Responsibilities:
Experience in installing fiber optic and copper cables in a data center environment
Experience with labeling fiber optic cables in a data center environment.
Experience with testing with a Fluke DSX is a PLUS
Experience with reading blueprints
Ability to work off ladders
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on data center or commercial low voltage experience Proven experience leading crews or supervising installation teams
Strong working knowledge of structured cabling and data center infrastructure Fiber optic experience required (single-mode and multi-mode)
BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications highly preferred
Manufacturer certifications are a plus
Must possess basic hand tools and required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
Willingness to work onsite in Sterling, VA
