Job Description
Position Title: Loader
Wage: $17/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 4pm-0:30am Monday-Friday
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Loader for a company in Springfield, MO. This position requires lifting up to 80 pounds as well as good attendance. This is a potential to hire role.
Loader Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Be punctual when arriving to work, and returning from breaks and lunches
- Ensure dumpsters and cullet bins are emptied and returned, assist customers with will-calls
- Receive any product delivered
- Ensure a steady and safe pace while operating the crane and forklift, while maintaining a good attitude
- Load trucks with product for delivery, inspect each piece of outgoing product checking for imperfections
- Build wooden cases and secure glass on to both metal and wooden frames for safe transport
- Keep trucks clean and presentable
- Exercise extreme caution when unloading and loading trucks
- Utilize PPE
Loader Requirements:
- Stand for 8-10 shifts on concrete floors
- Lift up to 80lbs repeatedly while wearing PPE
- Work in a hot warehouse
- Ability to read and understand the English language
- Ability to differentiate between a good polish and a bad polish
- Basic understanding of the metric system and how it relates to the standard measuring system
- Basic understanding of nuts and bolts mechanics
- Proficient on the use of cranes, and forklifts
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must have reliable transportation
