Responsibilities:Â
Supervise and direct onsite teams of 3–5 low voltage technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standardsÂ
Manage daily project tasks to meet deadlines and stay within budgetÂ
Oversee and perform installation, termination, dressing, and labeling of CAT5e/CAT6 cablingÂ
Conduct cable testing using industry-standard equipment (Fluke or similar)Â
Punch down voice and data jacks, ensuring secure and reliable connectionsÂ
Interpret and work from blueprints, system layouts, and technical drawingsÂ
Safely operate ladders and lifts of all sizes (must be comfortable working at heights)Â
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site as neededÂ
Requirements:Â
5+ years of hands-on commercial or industrial low voltage experienceÂ
Experience with structured cabling and electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems
Proven experience leading crews or supervising installation teamsÂ
Strong working knowledge of telecom and data network infrastructureÂ
BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications highly preferredÂ
Manufacturer certifications are a plusÂ
Must possess basic hand tools and required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)Â
Willingness to travel to job sites within the DMV area as neededÂ
