Position Title: Inventory & Logistics Coordinator (Bilingual)

Wage: $20-$24/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator for a company in Whitewater, WI. This position serves as a critical connection between inventory, production, project management, suppliers, and shipping operations. The Inventory & Logistics Coordinator plays a direct role in preventing material shortages, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting customer deadlines, and ensuring efficient plant operations. This is not a standard warehouse or shipping position. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, inventory experience, vendor communication experience, and the ability to coordinate materials critical to production schedules. Bilingual English/Spanish is required. This is an associate to hire opportunity.

Inventory & Logistics Coordinator (Bilingual) Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate inventory records for production materials and components
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts as requested
- Conduct inventory audits and investigate discrepancies
- Track material usage throughout production runs
- Obtain and report final component counts at the completion of jobs
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or concerns to Project Managers, Plant Management, and Production teams
- Receive and verify incoming materials and components
- Ensure materials are properly identified, organized, and available for production
- Monitor inventory consumption trends and identify when materials may be depleted sooner than expected
- Work closely with Project Managers to verify component availability for upcoming jobs
- Coordinate material movements between receiving, inventory storage, and production areas
- Schedule inbound deliveries with suppliers and vendors
- Coordinate truck appointments and receiving schedules
- Communicate with vendors regarding shipment status, delivery timing, and receiving requirements
- Track incoming materials to ensure deliveries align with production schedules
- Notify management and project teams of shipment delays or supply chain concerns
- Monitor and maintain inventory of consumable supplies, including tape, glue, stretch wrap, labels, packaging supplies, and other production-related consumables
- Ensure replenishment orders are requested before shortages occur
- Communicate supply needs to management in a timely manner
- Send and receive emails regarding inventory, deliveries, project requirements, and material availability
- Work closely with Project Managers to support customer projects and production timelines
- Provide inventory updates and status reports as requested
- Maintain organized inventory and receiving documentation
- Serve as a communication link between suppliers, project managers, shipping, production, and management

Inventory & Logistics Coordinator (Bilingual)Requirements:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Strong computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to perform basic math and inventory calculations
- Preferred experience in inventory control, logistics, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or materials management
- Preferred experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred forklift experience or willingness to be trained
- Highly organized and dependable
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Proactive communicator
- Problem-solver who can anticipate issues before they affect production
- Comfortable working with vendors, management, and production personnel
- Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
