Position Title: Inside Sales Representative
Wage: $22.00 - $27.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
We are looking for an energetic and driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is customer-facing, with responsibilities that include picking and packing orders, assisting with cycle counts, and making outbound calls to contractors. In Kansas City, you'll work alongside a warehouse team, but in Springfield, you’ll be more hands-on with warehouse duties. This position requires a well-rounded individual who can provide excellent customer service, handle complaints, and contribute to process improvements.
Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls and proactively make outbound calls during downtime
- Conduct site visits to build strong relationships with customers
- Pick and pack orders, assist with cycle counts, and manage inventory
- Utilize Netsuite and Salesforce for order processing and customer management
- Be determined and take the initiative to improve processes
- Lift and handle parts, with a maximum weight capacity of 100 lbs. (most parts are 10-15 lbs.)
- Complete forklift training
Requirements for Inside Sales Representative:
- Must have 2-3 years of experience in the HVAC/refrigeration industry (non-sales roles)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle varying day-to-day operations
- Outgoing, extroverted personality with a strong drive to succeed
- Must be willing to engage in site visits and build lasting customer relationships
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
Team & Location Details:
- Kansas City: Currently a team of 3, looking to expand to 4 (with 1 position open due to a departure)
- Springfield: Team of 3, with 1 additional position open
- Opportunity to work at either the West Bottles location or possibly Lenexa in Kansas City
