Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $30.00 - $40.00/hour

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, heating system, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
- Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating issues
- Repair and maintain plant equipment and machinery
- Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance with CNC lathes and machining centers
- Administer maintenance engineering functions and operations to maintain the physical structures, machinery, utilities, facilities and property and arrangement of production machines and equipment
- Utilize computerized maintenance management system for tracking maintenance work orders (MWO)
- Clean and make repairs to building and/or property
- Perform general shop and office housekeeping
- Perform maintenance in office and shop, to include doors, closures, desks, files, etc.
- Complete and maintain required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
- Assist in maintaining appropriate spare parts inventories
Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
- High School Diploma with seven to ten years of related experience or a combination of education and experience
- Good communication skills
- Superb safety record and safety program awareness
- Ability to prepare purchase requisitions
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and other employees of the organization
- Experience troubleshooting and correcting electrical or mechanical problems, maintaining inventory levels
- Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical repairs to machines and building
- Experience in preventative maintenance of shop machinery
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
