Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $25.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 2:30pm-1:00am (Mon-Thurs with possible overtime Fri)
QPS Employment Group has a great Maintenance Technician position available at a company in St. Charles, MO. This is a 2nd shift, direct hire position.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and plumbing troubleshooting and repairs.
- Diagnose equipment issues using a variety of tools and testing equipment.
- Dismantle, repair, and adjust assemblies using blueprints and schematics.
- Lead preventative maintenance (PM) for all presses.
- Operate a broad range of shop machinery and tooling.
- Conduct building and facility maintenance as needed.
- Perform welding and cutting tasks safely and accurately.
- Work at heights using lifts as needed.
- Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow all safety protocols.
- On-site attendance required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical or vocational schooling preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Effective communication skills.
- Required: LOTO authorization/certification.
- Preferred: Forklift and scissor-lift certification.
- Must have basic math skills, ruler measurement proficiency, and own tools.
- Ability to distinguish colors for inspection and quality control.
- Ability to push, pull, kneel, reach, sit, walk, and hear.
- Stand for up to 10 hours.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
