Position Title: HVAC Technician
Wage: $25.00 - $30.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm

HVAC Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment (refrigeration units, isolated heating and ventilating units, including boilers, gas, and electrically operated air conditioning equipment) across 7 facilities, including roof top units
- Perform troubleshooting and conduct repairs on HVAC equipment as needed
- Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls, including (but not limited to) thermostats, automatic switches, fan controls, log switches, damper motors, louvers, relays, filters, etc.
- Maintain log of tasks performed and write reports as required
- Advise Maintenance Department as to required parts and material inventory to support HVAC equipment
- Operate variety of hand/power tools and test equipment utilized in the trade
- Coordinate with outside contractors to install new equipment
- Support the maintenance department with various other facilities related maintenance as needed
Requirements for HVAC Technician:
- At least one year of experience with commercial HVAC equipment up to 20 tons
- Standard practices of HVAC and refrigeration trade and theory of HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of the materials, methods, tools (manual and electric) and equipment applicable to the HVAC and refrigeration trade
- EPA certified
- Able to operate in Windows office environment
