Job Description

Position Title: Frac Plug Assembler

Wage: $16.00 - $20.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 2:00PM-11:00PM (Monday - Friday, Occasional Saturday) will train on first shift for first month or two then transition to 2nd shift.

Frac Plug Assembler Responsibilities:
- Assemble composite frac plugs according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications
- Inspect components for defects, damage, and dimensional accuracy before assembly
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, and measuring instruments during the assembly process
- Perform quality checks on assembled products
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety policies, and manufacturing procedures
- Identify and report non-conforming materials, equipment issues, or process deviations
- Assist with inventory control, material handling, and organization of work areas
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements for Frac Plug Assembler:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, oilfield equipment, or mechanical experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical documents
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive hand movements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with exposure to noise and industrial equipment
- Mechanical assembly experience desired
- Knowledge of oilfield completion tools and hydraulic fracturing equipment is a plus
- Quality control and inspection experience preferred
- Forklift or material handling experience (optional)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
