QPS Employment Group has a great Forklift Operator position at a company in Madison, WI. This is a day and night shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate forklift equipment to perform required duties to support production, fill customer orders and ensure consistent flow of materials both inbound and outbound.
- Meet department goals for efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Fill customer production orders accurately and efficiently, ensure that product is stored, received and shipped to quality standards.
- Perform timely and accurate transactions to maintain the integrity of inventory systems.
- Complete all shift documentation/paperwork.
- Maintain department equipment by performing daily checks, maintain department KPI's.
- Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Lift up to 10 lbs. continuously (cases of product and hand tools).
- Lift 11-30 lbs. regularly (3-4 times per shift).
- Lift 31-50 lbs. occasionally (1-2 lbs. per shift).
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in warm environments.
- 3 years of forklift experience.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements.
- Basic math skills.
- Computer and software skills.
