Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate stand-up forklift to move, load and unload components to designated areas within warehouse
- Use handheld scanner to scan orders in and out in preparation for shipment
- Check parts received against purchase orders to verify incoming shipments are correct
- Package and prepare items to ensure safe transportation
- Inspect materials for damages and defects
- Mark damaged when product doesn’t meet standards
- Rotate and stock materials as necessary
Requirements for Forklift Operator:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally (3-5x./day) and lifting 10lbs repetitively (10-15x/day)
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours at a time
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled area
- Ability to bend, twist, pull and crouch throughout the shift
- Ability to read and write in English
