Job Description
Position Title: Food Service Help
Wage: $14.25 per hour
Shift: Days
Hours: 9am-6pm
Food Service Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist as directed with the operation of the college dining services.
- Perform food preparation and customer service functions.
- Prepare main entrees, side dishes and desserts.
- Assist in preparing and service of caterings.
- Responsible for keeping kitchen equipment/appliances clean.
- Assist in washing dishes, utensils, pots and pans.
- Maintain organizations, rotations and cleanliness of all areas of the kitchen, store rooms, coolers, freezers, service and dining area.
- Store all food, paper supplies, and chemicals according to all applicable health laws.
- Monitor food appearance, quality and portion control.
- Receive and validate all food deliveries from vendors.
