Responsibilities:Â
Pull, terminate, dress, and label fire alarm cableÂ
Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipmentÂ
Terminate fire alarm panels and devicesÂ
Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprintsÂ
Troubleshoot and service existing fire alarm systemsÂ
Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)Â
Install and support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.)Â
Requirements:Â
2+ years demonstrated work history/knowledge in Fire Alarm SystemsÂ
Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements (current codes)Â
Experience troubleshooting panels, devices, and programming systems (Edwards, Silent Knight, FireLite, etc. a plus)Â
BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plusÂ
Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)Â
Willingness to travel to job sites within Memphis, TN, and the surrounding areas as neededÂ
