Job Description
Position Title: Finisher
Wage: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6:00am-4:00pm (Mon-Thurs with some Fri)
QPS Employment Group has a great Finisher position available at a company in Oregon, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Finisher Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform light assembly tasks and flip oddly shaped boards to prepare for finishing processes.
- Read and follow work instructions accurately to ensure quality standards.
- Use hand tools effectively to finish boards, doors, and related items.
- Place interior doors or molding on conveyors to facilitate smooth movement through the finishing stages.
- Apply protective foam to finished doors prior to stacking to prevent sticking and damage.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in the handling and placement of items on conveyors across different production stages.
- Support team members and adapt to various tasks within the finishing process as needed.
Finisher Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Capable of walking, standing, sitting, bending, and stooping for extended periods.
- Visual acuity to meet normal color and depth perception requirements.
- Knowledge of basic household tools and mathematics to perform finishing tasks accurately.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including overtime, and in varying climates.
