Position Title: Field Service Technician
Wage: $47,840-$54,080 per year
Shift: 1st
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Field Service Technician at a company in Lincoln, NE. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position.Â
Field Service Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and performs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system repairs on company machinery and equipment out in the field at job sites.
- Operates equipped service truck with OE level diagnostic software.
- May assist other mechanics in a support role at the shop when needed.
- Performs all work in accordance with schedules, policies, procedures and standards of quality and safety.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Field Service Technician Requirements:
- Associates degree in diesel or automotive technology; and
- 5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.Â
- Valid Driver’s License.Â
- Must provide own tools of the trade.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to operate with minimal supervision, be a trouble shooter and take initiative to investigate and resolve problems.Â
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Must be flexible regarding work assignments and demonstrate willingness to perform other support duties during non-busy times.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Â
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
