Position Title: Entry-Level Assembler – 1st Shift
Wage: $16.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 5:00am – 2:30pm

Assembler Responsibilities:
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and parts lists
- Gather parts, subassemblies, tools and materials
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
- Verify specifications by measuring completed component
- Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirementsÂ
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies and verifying receipt of supplies
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
Requirements for Assembler:
- High School Diploma or GEDÂ
- Previous experience working within a highly technical environment
- Previous experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly
- Previous forklift experience
- Exposure to a Lean manufacturing environment
- Strong basic math skills
- Basic knowledge in blueprints reading and torque values
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detailÂ
- Able to multi-task
- Good manual dexterity
