Job Description
Position Title: Engineering Technician
Wage: $26-$28/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday with some Friday morning overtime as needed
QPS Employment Group is hiring an Engineering Technician for a company in Lincoln, NE. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Engineering Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the development and implementation of automation
- Collaborate with the operations team to troubleshoot manufacturing process
- Support plant wide continuous improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Engineering Technician Requirements:
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor CAD preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong computer skills
- Associate Degree in relevant field experience preferred
- Manufacturing engineering technology knowledge
- Precision machining and technology knowledge
