Position Title: Electrical Maintenance Tech
Wage: up to $30.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am – end (ability for flexible hours)
QPS Employment Group has a great Electrical Maintenance Tech position available at a company in Lincoln, NE. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position.Â
Electrical Maintenance Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performs technical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines and the physical plant.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during all production times and scheduled maintenance when time allows.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules and regulations.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Electrical Maintenance Tech Requirements:
- Possess integrity and character to present a favorable example to all employees. Â To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Â
- Education level of high school or above is required, with a GED equivalency accepted.Â
- Two years of experience with maintenance of production machinery, valid driver’s licenses and minimal computer skills.
- Must have a good command of the English language, oral and written.
- Must have the ability to read and understand company orders and forms.
- Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate with others. Â
- Ability to perform basic math skills add, subtract, multiply divide, fractions, decimals and percentages.Â
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
