Position Title: Electrical Assembly Technician – 1st Shift
Wage: $18.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm or 8:00am – 4:30pm
Our client is a leading robotic systems integrator based in the Fox Valley, serving clients across the United States and Canada. Their expertise lies in robotic packaging systems, material handling systems, and automation line integration. They proudly serve a wide range of industries, including flat glass, solar, consumer products, food, pharmaceutical, plastics, paper, and metals.

Electrical Assembly Technician Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to guide your work
- Collaborate with the Electrical Assembly team to ensure efficient production
- Build electrical control panels by expertly mounting and wiring various components
- Assist with the design process by red-lining drawings when modifications are necessary
- Perform machine wiring to prepare systems for engineering testing
- Prepare systems for power-up and perform point-to-point wiring quality checks to meet customer standards
- Communicate effectively with our team of engineers and technicians to ensure seamless operations
Requirements for Electrical Assembly Technician:
- High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required
- Previous experience with electrical assembly is a plus
- Experience with manual vertical milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and welding is preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of common hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail to meet and exceed customer standards
