Job Description
Position Title:Â Diesel Mechanic
Wage:Â $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Shift:Â 1st
Hours:Â 7am-4pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic for a company in Ferrelview, MO. The Diesel Mechanic will be maintaining and repairing the fleet of diesel-powered trucks and equipment. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks, trailers, generators, and other diesel-powered equipment
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with DOT and company standards
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical problems and determine solutions
- Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Diesel Mechanic Requirements:
- 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or ability to obtain)
- Working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Own mechanic tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to quality and safety
