Position Title: Custodian
Wage: $19.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm
QPS Employment Group has a great Custodian position available at a company in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Custodian Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performs general labor tasks such as sweeping, cleaning, dusting and stocking supplies.
- Cleans restrooms and locker room areas.
- Performs set up and cleanup of employee workspaces.
- Processes trash removal for all areas.
- Assists with meeting set up and tear down.
- Performs escort of external vendors as assigned.
- Tracks work through computer-based work order system.
- Operates janitorial equipment as assigned.
- Assists ground maintenance and café services as needed.
Custodian Requirements:
- High School Diploma required.
- 2 years of related experience.
- Ability to lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50lbs., and may weigh up to 70 lbs. (frequently (60-90%)).
- Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- In-office/on-site work required for this position.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Required to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to talk and hear.
- May be in close proximity to warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Warehouse environment may be impacted by weather conditions - heat, humidity and cold.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
