Next Level Technician – Construction Quality Manager | Columbus, OH

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) across multiple construction projects
  • Perform and oversee quality control inspections, audits, and reporting
  • Monitor project quality issues and ensure timely resolution and corrective actions
  • Evaluate construction processes, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and codes
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce defects
  • Oversee site inspections, testing procedures, and audit processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation including test results, inspections, and non-conformance reports
  • Prepare and present quality reports to stakeholders and leadership
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, ACI, OSHA, and local codes)
  • Lead, train, and mentor quality control teams across project sites
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve quality concerns
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support training of field teams on quality standards and documentation processes

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or related field
    (or 7+ years equivalent experience)
  • 5–7+ years of construction quality management experience
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects required
  • Data center or telecommunications experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality processes
  • Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, ACI, OSHA, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with quality management systems and reporting tools

Certifications:
  • OSHA 30 (Required)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Required)
  • Certified Construction Quality Manager (CQM) (Preferred)
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Preferred)
  • ACI or ASTM certifications (Preferred)
