Position Title: Class B CDL and Warehouse
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
QPS Employment Group has a great Class B CDL and Warehouse available at a company in Elvaston, IL. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position.
Class B CDL and Warehouse Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Safely operate a Class B CDL vehicle to deliver products to customers, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, adjusting as needed based on traffic, weather, or other factors.
- Safely load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring the items are properly secured and delivered in excellent condition.
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers, ensuring their orders are delivered on time and in full.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards while driving and handling cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records, including delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and shipment tracking.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing incoming inventory. Perform regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly identified, packaged, and labeled.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of products from trucks and other delivery vehicles. Verify the contents of shipments against packing lists or purchase orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by performing general housekeeping duties and ensuring the proper storage of products.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently when necessary.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
Class B CDL and Warehouse Requirements:
- Class B driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
