They also offer an overtime incentive program that allows you to work any hours past your normal 8 hour shift with a $5/hr increase on the overtime rate! CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Plans for each day’s machining by studying blueprints, engineering plans, and materials
- Analyzes information and finds the best solutions to problems
- Programs CNC mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points
- Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread-chasing operations
- Adhering to safety procedures and regulations to ensure safe operations
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance
- Continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions in our internal electronic system
- Confers with engineers, production, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems
Requirements for CNC Machinist:
- Ability to operate and program CNC mills or lathe
- Proficient computer and technical skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Detail oriented
- Team player
- Self-starter
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Experience operating CNC mills and lathes in a production environment
