Position Title: CNC Lathe Operator
Wage: $22-$26/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 2:30pm-11pm

CNC Lathe Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Regularly perform all assigned machining operations
- Read blueprints
- Set Jaws to the correct diameter
- Change inserts and make offsets to adjust to specs
- Change tools and be able to set tools
- Perform own inspections using all of the following gauges proficiently: radius gauge, caliper, micrometer, height stand, digital bore gauge, id tooling, boring bars, and bore gages
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures
- Read, understand, and follow written work instructions
- Fill out daily production and related paperwork
- When changing inserts, identify tool wear and when adjustments/changes need to be made
CNC Lathe Operator Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience preferred
- 1-2 years of experience is preferred for Level 1 CNC Operator
- CMM experience preferred
- Live tooling experience
- Knowledge of proper boring jaw technique
- Programing CNC machines is NOT a requirement
- Dual spindle lathe experience preferred
- Skills for 906 886 Gabriel's
- Must know how to set up drills/collets/taps
- Use of depth micrometer
- Verbal and written communication
- Addition and subtraction
- Technical capacity
- Time management
- Regularly talk or hear
- Frequently stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
- Frequent lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling objects that are up to 50lbs
