Position Title: CNC Lathe Set Up Machine Operator
Wage: $25-$32/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 5am-3:30pm

CNC Lathe Set Up Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Run and set up a variety of CNC lathe machines to produce various mechanical parts and kits
- Become familiar and proficient with the operational understanding of all assigned equipment procedures, capabilities, and capacities
- Become familiar and proficient with how to read, interpret, and process all orders utilizing standard documentation
- Work with close tolerance
- Proficient in the use of common, generally accepted measuring devices such as tapes, micrometers, calipers, or other instruments as required
- Become familiar and proficient with the operational aspects of all equipment assigned to the area
- Become familiar and proficient with various safety requirements such as the lockout/tagout procedure, etc.
- Maintain and turn in accurate, legible daily labor reports
- Become familiar and proficient with how to select, set-up and adjust equipment necessary to complete job in the most efficient manner
- Strictly adhere to published company safety guidelines and procedures
- Become familiar and proficient with how to verify conformance of finished product to work order requirements
CNC Lathe Set Up Machine Operator Requirements:
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience
- Must have CNC Lathe Operator with strong CNC setup experience
- Basic math and reading skills
- Blueprint reading skills
- Stand for entire shift
- Lift 30lbs frequently
- Bend, squat, and reach frequently
- Twist and bend at the waist
- Ability to read a tape measure and ruler
- Ability to read assembly instructions
