CMO Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate encapsulation and packaging machines and related equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor production processes to ensure proper encapsulation, yield and quality of product
- Set up, calibrate and adjust equipment to meet batch specifications and minimize downtime
- Perform in-process inspections and record operational data, including temperature, weight, and moisture levels
- Follow safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Operate and monitor packaging machines and associated equipment to package finished goods
- Ensure proper labeling, sealing, and packaging in accordance with production specifications and GMP standards
- Inspect packaging materials and final products for defects or inconsistencies
- Perform changeovers, equipment adjustments, and minor maintenance as required
- Maintain accurate records of production counts, downtime, and materials usage
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to HACCP or GMP guidelines
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas in compliance with hygiene and GMP standards per established frequency and procedures
- Work closely with supervisors and quality assurance personnel to ensure consistent product quality
- Follow operating discipline policies, principles, procedures, standards, and practices to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of assigned areas
- Communicate equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or material issues to supervisors promptly
- Proactively identify improvements and opportunities utilizing improvement processes, appropriate management of change processes, and communication tools
- Maintain accurate production batch records and logbooks
Requirements for CMO Operator:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least two years of experience in machine operation
